How to Delete Your Account

If you wish to delete your Omoyo account and all associated data, you can do so directly from within the Omoyo mobile app. This guide will walk you through the process.

Steps to Delete Your Account

Open the Omoyo App

Launch the Omoyo mobile application on your iOS or Android device and ensure you are logged in to the account you wish to delete.

Navigate to the Profile Tab

Tap on the "Me" or "Profile" tab located at the bottom navigation bar. This will take you to your personal statistics and account settings.

Go to About / Settings

Look for the "About" or "Settings" section in your profile. Tap it to access advanced account management options.

Tap Delete Account

In the account management section, you will find the "Delete Account" option. Tap on it to begin the process.

Confirm Deletion

Read the warning message carefully. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Confirm your decision to finalize the deletion.

⚠️ Important Information

Permanent Deletion: Deleting your account will permanently remove:

  • Your personal game library and private SGF uploads
  • Your game history statistics, rank data, and profile settings
  • Any unused AI analysis credits

Game History: Records of multiplayer matches are preserved as archival data and are not modified or anonymized. This keeps game history and opponents' statistics intact. Your username and move data in those match files remain as part of the historical record.

Subscriptions: Deleting your account does not automatically cancel any active paid subscriptions. You must manually cancel your subscription through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store settings to avoid future charges.

This action cannot be undone. Once your account is deleted, we cannot recover your data.

If you are unable to access the app or prefer to request account deletion through other means, you can contact our support team. Please send an email to [email protected] with the subject line "Account Deletion Request".

Please include your account email address and a clear statement that you wish to delete your account. We will process your request within 30 days.
