Ishi no shita

Ishi no shita—also known as under the stones—is a Go tesuji in which a stone is played beneath an opponent’s stones, typically on a point that has just been vacated by a capture. The move uses the space revealed by that capture to create a tactical sequence.
Depending on the position, the sequence may capture surrounding stones or form eyes. Its purpose is to exploit the opponent’s capturing shape, turning what appears to be a successful capture into a tactical loss or another favorable result. Ishi no shita is a specific tesuji based on playing beneath captured stones, not simply any move near or under an existing group. Whether it works depends on the exact liberties, the order of captures, and the resulting ko or eye shape.
