kibitzer
A spectator who comments on or advises players during a Go game.
A kibitzer is a person watching a Go game who offers comments, suggestions, or analysis to the players. The kibitzer observes the position and intervenes verbally with advice or commentary while play is in progress.
Kibitzing may share useful observations or instruction, but it can also distract the players or interfere with the game. The kibitzer is the person; kibitzing is the act of giving this unsolicited commentary or advice. The term is often informal and somewhat negative because the advice is unsolicited. An impartial commentator, however, is not necessarily a kibitzer.
