n-territory
A territory containing exactly n points.
n-territory is an area of Go territory consisting of exactly n points. Here, n counts the empty intersections controlled as territory. The term offers a concise way to describe and compare territory size or its scoring value.
The number does not, by itself, include captured stones (prisoners) or komi. Unlike current territory, which describes territory presently secured on the board, n-territory states the territory’s point count. The final score may also depend on the scoring system, prisoners, dame, and komi; n-territory itself refers only to the n territory points.
