Tent

A three-stone Go shape whose arrangement resembles a tent.

Also known as

Tent shape

Tent is a named three-stone Go shape. Two stones form the roof, while a third stone forms the base beneath them, producing a configuration that resembles a tent. The term is also used as Tent shape.

The three stones are arranged around the central area so that they support one another as a recognizable pattern. The name describes the visual and structural relationship among these stones: the upper pair creates the roof-like part, and the lower stone provides the base. It refers specifically to this three-stone configuration, rather than to a general group of stones with a similar outline.
